COOPÉRATIVISME ET AGENDA 2030
AgriCOOPDS, compte tenu des réalités des différents pays, considère que le terme de coopérative désigne toutes les formes que prend actuellement l’agriculture familiale organisée et dont la propriété est partagée par tous ses membres, à condition qu’elle respecte certains principes démocratiques. Ainsi, elles incluraient les organisations ou associations de producteurs, les syndicats agricoles ou autres.
La COOPÉRATION AGRICOLE est un instrument CLÉ pour améliorer la situation de 2,5 milliards d’agriculteurs et agricultrices familiaux dans le monde.
Les coopératives sont essentielles pour parvenir à l’atteinte des ODD
Le coopérativisme est directement lié à 69 cibles des ODD, soit 41 % du total des objectifs existants.
- l’agriculture familiale et les coopératives ont un lien avec chacun des 17 ODD.
- l’agriculture familiale est liée à 121 cibles, ce qui représente 72 % de l’ensemble des cibles de l’Agenda 2030/li>
- dans la plupart des cas, les coopératives jouent un rôle fondamental (lien direct avec 69 cibles des ODD, soit 41 % du total des cibles existantes)
- par conséquent, le développement et le renforcement du secteur du coopérativisme constitue un élément clé pour atteindre un grand nombre des 121 cibles liées à l’agriculture familiale.
Les coopératives contribuent au développement rural, ce qui favorise l’atteinte des objectifs liés à la pauvreté, à la faim ou à l’inégalité dans les communautés rurales, en travaillant dans la sphère productive du secteur primaire, mais aussi en promouvant l’esprit de coopération et de collaboration qui facilite le développement de sociétés plus cohérentes et plus résilientes.
